I'm not sure there's any more gut to be punched for us Reds fans. Time to win.
The story here will be the pitching matchup, one between two guys who were traded for each other. Latos made his return in SD last year with 7 shutout innings, but Edinson pitched well, striking out 10 Reds last time out. The bullpen ended up blowing that game, and there isn't a more important time for the Reds to get revenge here.
Here's the bullpen, which still looks pretty rested:
|Reliever||7/25||7/26||7/27||7/28||7/29||5 day totals|
|Aroldis Chapman||1.0, 26p||0.0, 8p||1.0 IP, 34 pitches
|Logan Ondrusek||1.0, 14p||1.0 IP, 14 pitches|
|Sam LeCure||1.1, 28p||1.1 IP, 28 pitches
|J.J. Hoover||1.0, 7p||1.0, 11p||2.0 IP, 18 pitches
|Curtis Partch||1.2, 28p||1.2 IP, 28 pitches
|0.1, 6p||0.2, 13p||1.0 IP, 19 pitches|
|Alfredo Simon||1.2, 23p||
1.2 IP, 23 pitches
Interesting lineup tonight with Choo in LF and Robinson in CF. It's going to need to work to let this little angel out.
