Man, it's disappointing to get beat by the Marlins. Mat Latos had a great performance, but Kevin Slowey matched him and a 94 MPH dead straight fastball from Aroldis Chapman made the difference. Hopefully today's game will get us back on track, and it's a day game so the crowd will be rocking.
Bronson Arroyo has pretty average numbers against the Marlins overall, and unsurprisingly, is pretty consistent between day and night games. Wade LeBlanc has lost all three of his starts so far, and has a 6.75 ERA. This lineup should improve today.
Bullpen looks pretty well rested, overall. Broxy could probably use a day if possible, but the rest should be good to go. Considering we're coming off of 5 good starting performances in a row, it's interesting to see the effect it's having on the team's record (4-1 in that span). As the starting pitching goes, the Reds go.
Go Bronson. Go Reds.
Ryan Hanigan is still bothered by that thing, so Devin Mesoraco is going to catch Bronson today.
