Another day, another game against the Tribe. We saw some positives yesterday, especially at the top of the order, where the Choo-BP-Votto triumvirate worked exactly how Walt drew it up. If this lineup produces like that in the regular season, this'll be a fun year.
On the other hand, this team blew a huge lead to lose in the 9th inning, mostly due to the gawd-awful pitching. The good news? Everybody that pitched yesterday is a huge long shot to make the big-league club. Today figures to be another bullpen game, with Alfredo Simon getting the start, and all of the pitchers going an inning or two.
Lots of regulars with the day off today, but Choo leading off and BP playing 2nd for another game is nice to see. I think we'll see a lot of Phillips with the WBC coming up.
Real fans listen to Game 2 (of spring training). Go Reds!
