A Rare Year...2012 Cincinnati Reds

This year has been a rare combination of experienced players coming together with rookies and guys rebounding to have really special years all of which has resulted in a division winning, play-off bound team. .

When Joey went on the DL and had surgery...who really thought that the team would continue to win and win and win? Young guys stepped up,Old guys cranked up their Vet Presence,Pitchers pitched and Chappy ruled.Amidst it all somehow Dusty remained Dusty through the whole thing. Who knows how the post season will go...

Will Drew Stubbs surprise us all and be the WS MVP? Will Chapman bounce back and Cueto return to form? Will Todd Frazier and Jay Bruce get hot just at the right time...we'll see.

I have often been a serious critic of Dusty Baker but I want to clearly state that he's done a yeoman's job this season. He's now managed over 3,000 games, that's a lot of friggin' games to manage and I am rooting for this this 2012 Red's team to bring home a WS title as much for Dusty as for the city and for themselves. So despite your inability to put together a batting order that makes sense...Here's to You Mr. Baker, lets win one for Dusty !
