- I knew it. I freaking knew it. Winning like the Reds did going into the All-Star break jaded Walt into not making a move. Now, the Reds have Miguel Cairo, Wilson Valdez, Xavier Paul, and Logan Ondrusek playing major roles in a stretch run. That's just asinine management.
- Sean Marshall is a LOOGY. That seems worth Dave Sappelt, Travis Wood, Ronald Torreyes, and a $20 million extension. Sigh.
- Remember when the Reds beat the hell out of the Padres, Astros, and Rockies with a bunch of late-game winning hits? Yeah, those teams were terrible. Smoke and mirrors, folks. JO-EY VOT-TO.
- I have no song for this. Anything fitting would make me too freaking sad. Anything good seems too trivial. Actually, maybe this seems appropriate at this crossroads of the season. And this, I hope, damnit.
