Trade Deadline Open Thread
The non-waver trade deadline is at 4pm today ET.
The Pirates have stepped up to the plate so far this week and done what they feel will at least give them their first winning season since Tesla invented electricity. The Reds have been rumored to Span, Pierre, Victorino, and Overbay among others. Big names rumored to be available include Lee, Choo, Dempster, Beckett, and Broxton. Will the Reds make a big splash and get a star player? Will they get a bench player to help us finish this run to the playoffs? Or, will they sit tight with what they have?
Use this thread to discuss, not only the Reds, but any other deals or rumors out there. I've also included a short poll for you to pick what you think our Redlegs might do. If you select mystery player, please inform us who you think that person might be.
