File this under "learn something new everyday" or "who knew". Hell, maybe even who cares, but I didn't know that Bob Gibson, yes that Bob Gibson, was a Harlem Globetrotter. Maybe every Cards fan gets this info in the handbook they get when they get they're first neck tat' but I just found out. Evidently he played hoops for Creighton on a scholarship, got signed by the Cards in the spring of 1957 and played for the Globetrotters for one year in the off-season after his first year in the minors.
