Despite a pretty painful sweep at the dirty hands of our in-state rivals, the boys in Red are still 6-4 over the last 10 games, and 8 games over .500. The Pirates are hanging in there 2 games back, while the Cardinals are dead even at 35-35. Sweeps happen. Luckily for the Reds, the woeful Twins come to town boasting the worst record in the AL. They've lost 7 of their last 10, and their superstars are hardly that anymore. I'm at work, so I'll have to keep this short, but it seems as though the Twins are as good a panacea as anything for rebounding from the sweep in Cleveland.
One roster change, as Bill Bray is back with the Reds, and J Pitcher Hoover was optioned to Louisville. Hoover didn't suck during his time here, and even if he doesn't make it back up before September, we still won the Juan Francisco trade.
