A little losing keeps you from getting soft and entitled.
We tend to attach way too much importance to single games by teams and single appearances by pitchers. Chapman had a bad inning last night, but he's having a stretch that's basically the equivalent of a "bad outing" by a starter, in innnings terms. As Slyde 'n' Slider pointed out, the Reds are a couple better breaks a way from having a win streak of 8 or more. Their 7 losses in June have been by a total of 11 runs.
It's a Street Fighter XVII battle between Arro-Yo (Son of Bron) vs. Master's Son. Arroyo's nasty hook punch and seemingly infinite combos are good for beating back a sweep. But Master's Son is from Beavercreek, OH. Power tip: Hold the SELECT button for 10 minutes in order to unlock a hidden character (Cybernetic Bot R.O.L.E.N.)
Pitching stats:
Arroyo - pretty good
Masterson - not quite as good
