Welp, it looks like the IT Team at SB Nation decided to spend their weekend at one of those parties where they pick each other's keys out of a bowl. Unfortunately, that may leave us with another day's worth of poorly formatted Game Threads depending on your browser. We appreciate your patience and your persistent page clicks notwithstanding the web site debacle. Hopefully we'll have everything cleared up by the first pitch (spoiler alert: we probably won't).

Tonight, the Reds will try to avoid a swap of their own in the standings as they look to take two-out-of-three against the Detroit Tigers. The game will be on ESPN which means Reds fans will have to learn how to complain about the ESPN crew and not their normal television team. Meanwhile, on the field, Homer Bailey will toe the rubber after being ruffed up a bit in his last start against the Pirates.

The Tigers will wind up their stay in the Queen City by putting Drew Smyly on the mound. Smyly has had a bit of a rough go of it lately and hasn't had a quality start in over a month. This certainly doesn't bode well for a team looking to stop Joey Votto's career-high fifteen game hitting streak. Heck, it may even be good news for the other Reds bats.

Can the Reds win the series against the Tigers? Will Aaron Boone go two minutes between referencing his playing days for the Reds? Will you even be able to reply to comments in tonight's thread? Stay tuned!

Go Reds! They're my favorite team that's trying to promote themselves on Twitter with a #VoteReds hashtag!
