Stay connected for news and updates

  • If you're local, it'll be no surprise to you that Louisville was rained out. They'll take on Durham at 7:05.
  • Apparently there was more rain than we thought, because Pensacola's game in Jackson was rained out. They'll play a doubleheader tonight at 6:05.
  • Bakersfield won 7-4 in 12 innings. Billy Hamilton was 3-for-6 with his 56th and 57th stolen bases. and Theo Bowe added his 23rd total (11th at A+) with 2 hits of his own. See, I mentioned him. Daniel Renken pitched well, giving up only 1 unearned run in 7 innings to get the win. Up next: Chad Rogers takes on the Giants at 10.
  • Dayton rallied in the bottom of the 9th, scoring 3 runs on 4 straight hits to stun South Bend 8-7. Sean Buckley was 3-for-4 and Kurtis Muller hit his 4th homer of the year. Tanner Robles shit the bed in his start, but big ups to the bullpen duo of Lucas O'Rear and Michael Dennhardt, who combined to give up 1 run in the reminaing 4 2/3 innings. Up next: Stalin Gerson takes on the Silver Hawks at 7.
