The Cardinals may be without Chris Carpenter for a while

Carpenter is has a pain in the neck and is seeking a second opinion about it. This should be good news, as a weakened Cardinals rotation - for any length of time - can only help the Reds. Of course, we said the same thing last season when Adam Wainwright was lost for the entire season, and we all know how that turned out (/tugs collar).
