I'm sorry if this is rehashing a subject previously discussed but I'm halfway across the world and haven't been able to keep up with things. I searched around and didn't see anything so I'll ask the question: What is the story with Madson and his elbow injury? Every time I see a pitcher struggling to get on the field b/c of an elbow injury it seems to ultimately result in a season ending injury. Volquez came back after having a "sore elbow", wasn't effective and then ended up having Tommy John surgery. Losing Madson changes the dynamic of the Reds team, and while I don't think its a killer, I do think the team is better with a healthy Madson as the closer, with Marshall as a set-up man.
Trying to reach the word count so I'll say this should be an exciting year to be a Reds fan and Go Buckeyes. Thanks.
