Always wanted to go to a game there

I was in Montreal in the fall of ’04 and talked some friends into going there for an afternoon game. The problem was the paper had printed the wrong game time, and it was actually a night game. We already had dinner plans so I glumly rode the Funicular instead.

Looking back at the ‘94 team, they really should’ve resigned Larry Walker. He didn’t make that much more in his next deal with the Rockies.

Nolan Ryan was throwing darts and Joe Price was getting squeezed by Joe West. For whatever reason Baseball did not want the Reds in the Playoffs that year.

Don’t get me started on the rain out game against the Giants (Reds were winning 6-0) that would have put us in a tie with the Dodgers for the first half.

The idea had so much potential, but the execution was botched like a 2011 Arroyo curve ball.

Really compare the Expo’s to the Mariners, the Mariners were thought to be one step out the door in 1995, and that magical playoff run caused the fans to fall in love, and saved baseball in Seattle.
