Wishing my fellow Red Reporters a Merry Christmas. I've even got a little gift for you. Yes, that's right - a gallery of my favorite Paul Janish photos!
Just kidding. I recently found this photo from a couple of years ago - the BBWAA dinner where Joey Votto was honored as the NL MVP. (I take a lot of photos, and don't always look closely at them all until later. I could have a photo of Elvis and Bigfoot riding in a UFO in one of my photos, and not find it for years.)
I've never posted this one before, and thought youse guys might like it.
Joey Votto is saying goodbye to Barry Larkin as the event breaks up. That's Bernie Williams in the background. He and his band provided the music for the evening.
Well, maybe one Paul Janish photo...
Janny hit his fourth and what ended up his final home run of the year in Pawtucket, while I was in the stands in violation of the restraining order cheering him on. That means I owe CARE $28, and I've paid up, plus a little extra, as I pledged. (They're having a dollar for dollar match thing until Dec. 31, so now's a good time to pay.)
Happy holidays to you and yours!
