new to Caravan. need advice.
I wasn't originally planning to attend the Reds Caravan this year, but it looks like it'll be in the cards. Speaking of cards, I'd love to have some autopgraphed while I'm there. I'll be attending either the Indianapolis or Bloomington, IN stop on the Western Tour. Not having ever attended a Caravan before, I figured I'd ask you all for some advice...
Knowing that there's money to be made, is it safe to assume they'll be selling cards and/or other memorabilia to be signed at the stop? If not, do any of you Indiana Reds fans know where I could purchase prospect/younger Reds cards in the Indianapolis region? Frazier, Masset, and Hamilton will be signing. Normally I'd go online, but there's not enough time for that. I called 3 of my regular ballcard shops and chances seem to be thin that I'll find any.
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

This is a good question I don't know the answer to
I know that they’re taking time out at each stop and that there are sales reps on hand (for tickets, primarily) and a Reds HOF traveling exhibit at some stops. But there are also “2012 Reds Heads kids club kits” (whatever those are) that may have autograph-able things in them. And if they have all that, they may well have merch available (including cards).

i was kind of surprised...
if there’s money to be made, i figured they would have been selling merchandise of some kind. unfortunately, they weren’t. but i came with a baseball so at least I didn’t have to settle for them signing one of the free flyers being handed out. I scoured through my card collection and unfortunately found only a Massett. would have loved to get Hamilton’s and Frazier’s autos on some cards though…
go early
especially in Indy. you can buy stuff at the memorabilia store in the ball or bring your own stuff. they will have some stuff there but go early. a few years back I got a pretty sweet 5×7 bp 30/30 picture signed by him. wish he was on this leg this year. also, ask a good question during q&a. everyone is always quite and the you have little kids asking little kid questions.

well i arrived with 3-4 solid questions to ask...
but unfortunately, because the caravan had arrived late, they took only 2 questions. 2! and neither was mine. i was kinda pissed, but i guess the majority of people were there simply to get autographs. a little disappointing for my first caravan, but still fun.
my wife challenged Billy Hamilton to a foot race. he laughed and told her he couldn’t turn down a challenge. we had to take off before the autograph session was over, so we didn’t know if he was serious or not, but i like to think he would have raced her. would have made for great photos.
