- Louisville lost 12-6 to Durham. Matt Maloney started the game and was not impressive, going 6 innings and giving up 8 runs (7 ER). Juan Francisco, Todd Frazier, and Jeremy Hermida all had two hits each, and Chris Valaika drove in 3 runs. - Bakersfield beat Stockton 6-3. Henry Rodriguez led the way on offense, going 3-for-4 with 3 doubles, and Brodie Greene, Josh Fellhauer, and Yasmani Grandal all added two hits each. Josh Ravin struck out 6 and gave up 2 runs in his 4 innings of work, and Clayton Shunick pitched 3 innings to earn the win. Up next: Pedro Villarreal takes the mound at 10:30.
- Dayton lost 4-3 to Great Lakes. Tanner Robles got the start and went 5 innings, giving up 4 runs in his outing. Pat Doyle, James Walczak, and Daniel Wolford combined for 4 shutout innings of relief. Billy Hamilton was 1-for-4 with a walk, which naturally means that he stole 3 bases in that span to bring his season total to 32. David Vidal was 2-for-5 with his 5th homer of the year.
