I was digging around in the archives earlier today and ran across this gem of a fanpost by yours truly. It was written after I first met the RR crew and is chock full of excellent quotes in the comments.

Also, BK couldn't yet drink legally and had a girlfriend. These were different times, friends.

I also really enjoyed this thread from New Year's 2010 for its off-the-rails-ism. What starts as a Happy New Year/Sugar Bowl thread devolves into a discussion about religion.

Another RR favorite thread was the anaconda thread from 2006. This was before my time, but ~1400 in a game thread in those days is pretty amazing.

So I ask you guys, what is your favorite thread? Link to it, or if you can give some identifying info on it I'll see if I can dig it up.

For the new folks and/or lurkers, most of the dumb inside jokes we spout religiously originated in a thread somewhere once upon a time. Are there RR colloquialisms that you're confused about or would like to know the origin of? Post them and someone will do their best to explain.
