The Hardball Times' Top Ten Postseason Series Of All Time
The 1975 Reds-Red Sox World Series comes in at #3. Wait, the Reds won that series? I thought Carlton Fisk won the series, defeated the Reds, and saved the world from alien invasion with his home run off the foul pole in game 6.
Sadly, I think they got it wrong. The best postseason series I've ever seen in my life comes in at #2, when it should have been at the top.

Dang. This one should have been extremely easy, but of course they got it wrong
the best playoff series of all time is the Yankees/Diamondbacks World Series.
I'd go Twin/Braves, DBacks,Yankees, Reds/Red Sox in that order

how did the 1960 WS not make the list?
Still the only Game 7 walkoff in WS history.
My favorite is probably the 1996 WS.

The list is based on a formula
I agree that the ’01 WS is the best in my lifetime, though ’91 is very close.
I don’t like the Mets/Braves LCS as no. 1 because Atlanta took the first three. There wasn’t much drama in the next couple of games even if the scores were close because of the inevitability of an Atlanta win. Though I guess the Red Sox changed some of that way of thinking.
this was the best and it was my d-backs that won it over my ex's favorites, the yankees
maybe all the gloating is why she’s my ex
Individuality: Always remember that you are unique. Just like everybody else.
sounds like grounds for divorce to me!
All Things Bubba: Because how can you not love a baseball player named Bubba?
That was great, but I'd still have to go with Twins/Braves
This was during the period that the Yankees weren’t hateable, and the Braves were just beginning to be.
Obviously the greatest pitching performance in WS history in game 7.
And of course, Kirby Fucking Puckett. Anyone too young to see/appreciate this one missed out on something great.

#7 is número uno
Four elimination games won by one team, against their archnemisis, was a sight to behold.
But I was tempted to vote for the 24 series, it’s incredibly underrated
