I need to come up with a question for Dusty...
And figure out how to keep my friends from asking a disrespecting question, seeing how most of them cut him no slack.
What does a mama bear on the pill have in common with the World Series? No cubs.

They should take this thing to Nashville
but I guess there’s no Skyline there.
Need the number of that store where they make ceramics in an oven made out of damaged circus supplies. It's called Rumpled Stilts Kiln. - Jon Wurster

Pitcher Spurns $12 Million, to Keep Self-Respect
The guaranteed contract is a fundamental principle of Major League Baseball, as much a part of the game as balls, strikes and outs. No matter how a player performs, or how his body holds up, he must be paid in full. Only in rare cases — an injury sustained off the field, gross personal misconduct — does a player forfeit his paycheck. But the case of Gil Meche is rare for an entirely different reason. Meche, a 32-year-old right-handed pitcher, had a contract that called for a $12 million salary in 2011. Yet he will not report to Surprise, Ariz., with the rest of the Kansas City Royals for spring training next month. He will not have surgery to repair his chronically aching right shoulder. He will not pitch in relief, which involves a lighter workload.
Meche retired last week, which means he will not be paid at all.
I guess the Royals have $12 million more to spend than they thought.
All Things Bubba: Because how can you not love a baseball player named Bubba?
And Bryan Price scouted him
Bart: "Dad, what's a Muppet?"
Homer: "Well, it's not quite a mop, not quite a puppet, but man... (laughs, then pauses) So, to answer you question, I don't know."
yes
The Times baseball blog has more from Bryan Price.
All Things Bubba: Because how can you not love a baseball player named Bubba?
"When that happens (such as the Pirates’ acquisition of Matt Morris in 2007), it usually backfires."
Matt Morris? That was random.

The caravan is annoying to me.
It’s not bad enough that there are still like 8 weeks to go after pitchers and catchers report. The caravan is unnecessary teasing.
