Farmers Only: On to the next one
- Louisville beat Durham 8-4 to win the first game of their AAA playoff series. Chad Reineke got the start, and gave up 4 R (3 ER) in 7 innings. Danny Ray Herrera and Jared Burton pitched scoreless innings of relief to close it out. Dave Sappelt and Sean Henry were both 3-for-4, Devin Mesoraco drove in 2 runs, and Mike Costanzo belted a 3-run homer which accounted of most of his 4 RBI. Up next: Game 2 of the best of 5 series is tonight at 6:05. AA All-Star Tom Cochran will take on the Bulls' Aneury Rodriguez.
- Billings was also in action last night, but didn't fare as well, losing 5-2 to Great Falls. The offense was weak, only mustering up 3 hits on the evening. Starlin Gerson was very good in his start, going 5 shutout innings, but Drew Hayes and the bullpen blew this one open. Up next: Daniel Tuttle takes on the Voyagers at 9:05.
