On this day in Red's History in 1929
Mother Madville and my father were wed in a double wedding ceremony with my Dad’s twin sister and her husband.
Too bad Dad passed away some years ago, they could be celebrating their 81st…I’m sure she’ll be reliving it…and you can bet she won’t miss tonight’s game.
If a guy hits .300 every year, what does he have to look forward to? I always tried to stay around .190, with three or four RBI. And I tried to get them all in September. That way I always had something to talk about during the winter.
