Now that the minor league season has ended for our Reds farmhands, let’s take a gander at how Cincinnati’s 2010 draftees performed in their initial foray into professional baseball.
Take these stats for what they're worth. Remember, should-have-been-Red Derek Jeter posted a line of .202/.296/.312 in rookie ball. Terry Adams carved out a successful 11-year big league career after going 0-9, 5.78 in the Appy League, while his teammate Jose Viera went 8-31-.331/.375/.527 and never sniffed the majors.
Feel free to hang some nickname suggestions on these guys, just for grins.
We'll do this draft-style to make any comments easier to follow.
