Beer League Fantasy Football
Well, hello there!
I was just thinking since I was the last manager, it was my duty to duplicate last years league on Yahoo. This particular league for RR has been running for 5 years! I peaked at the FanPosts and didn't see one for FF, so here we are.. If you are interested in joining this year, the link is http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/league/rrbl and the password is rrbl.
I think I will be tweaking the Playoffs situation. It has been frustrating to me that the (real) good teams going into the last 2 weeks of the season rest starters and therefore the good fantasy teams suffer with the lack of a solid quarterback for the fantasy playoffs. The last two years, the top seeded teams have lost first round games and it's been a lower seeded (7-7, 8-6) teams that have won the league. Ok, sure it's just FF, but Ash tore the league up the last two years and got knocked out in the first round, and I feel bad for her (though I probably shouldn't.)
Anyway, not sure what I am going to do, but I'm thinking of just nixing playoffs all together. Let me know what you think.. I'll try to stop back in a month or two to find out (just kidding..)
So, glad the Reds have been doing well! Sorry I haven't been around much, but work is now, well work.. I miss my RR family! Hope to see some of you in the beer league again this year.

Fabio Goes Butch is back for another shot at the title...
If a guy hits .300 every year, what does he have to look forward to? I always tried to stay around .190, with three or four RBI. And I tried to get them all in September. That way I always had something to talk about during the winter.

i'll start a team if needed
also, i was unable to use the link to enter the league. perhaps i’ve failed the initiation rite.
Wha' happened??
It is league 579057 if that helps.
Education is what you get from reading the directions. Experience is what you get from not reading them.
playoffs
I think we need fewer teams in the playoffs. Say 12 teams total, 4 make playoffs and playoffs are weeks 13-14? There’s really no ideal solution. At least this way if a 4th seed wins it all they were probably a pretty good team.
Fick that: Every team should make the Playoffs
Just like the NBA
