This Day in Reds History - July 26
On this date in 1964 the Reds beat the Pirates 7-2 in Crosley Field.
Leo Cardenas hit an eighth inning grand slam off Roy Face to cement the win. It was his only slam as a Red and one of only two he hit in his career. Also, the Reds started a 22 year old first baseman, making his Major League debut, named Tony Perez.
