MLB sanctioned gambling?

Anybody else see the Big League Stew article today talking about how mlb.com announced this today?

I'm certainly down for a few tickets in the Divisional round, but this sure seems like gambling to me, and to Big League Stew.  Our beloved Cincinnati Reds certainly know how the league office feels about gambling.  Does this seem like some hypocrisy to anyone else?  Or is the league trying to take a cut out of the scalper's pocket?

I've already told my boss I'll be taking a few days off in October and quite possibly November.
