On this day in 1990 the Reds beat Fernando Valenzuela the Dodgers 2-0 behind Tom Browning and Randy Myers.

 

Browning scattered four hits over seven innings in leading the Reds to the win. The win dropped the Dodgers 11 games behind the Reds. Browning helped his cause with a single and run scored in the seventh.
