This Day in Reds History - June 26

On this date in 1970 Tommy Helms led the Reds to a 3-2 Victory over the Astros.

Helms singled in the ninth to score Lee May with the go ahead run. Wayne Granger came on in the ninth to save the game for rookie Wayne Simpson who picked up his eleventh win of the season.
