All things go, all things go
Continuing on with the FanPost(TM) travel theme, anyone up for a RR gathering on Friday, July 2 in Chi-town USA to watch the Reds beat up the Zambranoless Chub$?
I'm going to the July 3 and 4 games but will be in Chicago from Friday (flying to Dayton, driving with family to Chicago, stopping some time to watch the USA team at 2:30pm insha'allah they get revenge on Ghana tomorrow) to Monday.
I haven't been to Chicago since...since...since...college. That was a freaking decade ago. Eleven years actually! Gasp! Used to drive up from Miami to see the Reds play. Back then, Chub$ fans weren't so annoying, and it was pleasant to go to Wrigley Field even if you were dressed up in the other team's gear. It also didn't cost fifty freaking dollars for freaking bleacher seats. I don't know if there was even such thing as MLB.com back then, but there definitely was not MLB.TV. People still watched the Chub$ on WGN even if they didn't live in Chicago. And E$PN was still watchable.
I don't know Chicago very well, and since it's been so long since I've been there, I don't have any idea where a good place to watch the game would be, so I would be open to any suggestions.
It's been a decade since I've been there, a decade since the Reds have won, a long, long, long, long decade, but 2010 is a new decade, and our farm is ready for harvest. All things grow, all things grow.

A few suggestions
You really should check out the Hopleaf. They have lots of delicious beer from around the country and the world, it is a bit expensive, but worth it on occasion. They are stocked with both bottled and draft beer. Plus I got free tickets to Wrigley when I went to the Hopleaf in April.
Also if you want to grab a drink after the game Sheffield’s isn’t bad. It is about three blocks south of Wrigley on Sheffield. They have a beer garden with a decent selection. I went there after a Sunday afternoon game, and it wasn’t over run like many of the bars right around Wrigley.
If you plan to completely leave the Wrigleyville area the game, do your self a favor, and walk north from the ballpark to the Sheridan stop (even if you are going south) on the Red Line. In 2006 I spent about an hour getting from the ballpark to the train at the Addison stop, I went to opening day this year, and walked north to the Sheridan stop, and I was on a train about 10 minutes after the game ended.
Also if you are interested in Indian food, check out Devon Ave in Rogers Park/Edgewater. It is dotted with excellent Indian food.

Do they show the game at Hopleaf?
I don’t recall there being TVs there, but I don’t know. I think it’s a place that Daedalus would really like though. And I still remember the CB&J sandwich:
On sourdough; house-made cashew butter, fig jam & morbier cheese, pan-fried; with stilton macaroni-and-cheese & house-made potato chips
Let me write out a formal proof for you.
i don't think they have TVs there
i’m just making it a general recommendation.
