i think he hit it right on the head with surprise and disappointment...

just about anybody in the traditional media would default to a robot-like answer of harang as the disappointment.

Agreed.

And I don’t think you can really use Harang’s last 2 starts in that. Those have both been solid.

they really were solid.

i didn’t watch the game on sunday and i found out the score from a guy looking up scores on his phone. he said, “we lost 6-0… fuckin’ harang…”

it wasn’t until yesterday that i learned he only gave up 3 runs. not “fuckin’ harang…” more like “no fuckin’ hitting…”

I checked out yesterday’s game recap from The Daily Stache, and they mentioned tonight’s game and that they had to face “Met killer Bronson Arroyo.” It’s funny to me, because I think of so many players as being Reds killers, but I hadn’t thought about the flip side.

I guess it’s true, though. I was at the game at Citi last year where Bronson threw a CG, 2 hit shutout against them. It was sweeeet.
