This Day in Reds History - May 26

On this day in 1993 the Reds beat the Atlanta Braves, and some guy named Maddux, 4-0 behind the complete game one-hit pitching of Tim Belcher.

The Reds offense was led by Chris Sabo's two hits and two RBI which included a solo homerun off of Maddux in the second inning. That was the only run Belcher would need as he struck out 10, walked 3, and allowed only 1 hit. Future Red Deion Sanders had the Braves only hit, a double in the first inning, but was promptly thrown out trying to steal third base by Joe Oliver.
