Louisville lost to the Toledo MudHens 4-1. Travis Wood went 7 1/3, but gave up all 4 runs on 9 hits, including 3 home runs. The Bats did their best Reds impression, only mustering 5 hits, including 2 each by Chris Valaika and Corky Miller. Carolina lost 6-5. Dallas Buck had a rough outing, giving up 6 runs (4 earned) on 7 hits in 5 innings. The offense was well rounded, with each starter getting at least one hit. Sean Henry hit his 3rd homerun, and Yonder Alonso hit a PH single in the bottom of the 9th but the tying run was thrown out at the plate. Up Next: They take on Tennessee again at 7:15. Dayton beat West Michigan 1-0. Brian Pearl pitched six shutout innings, and Donnie Joseph struck out the side in the 9th for his 3rd save.
