Well, not really. As part of my duties with Fellowship of Christian Athletes, however, I will be the team chaplain for the West Virginia Power, Pittsburgh's South Atlantic League affiliate in Charleston.
I'm not looking to spark one of our ever so interesting religion/spiritual discussions, here. Getting to work with a minor league baseball team is pretty cool and I think I'll greatly enjoy it. I'll do chapel for the Power, the visiting team and the umpires each Sunday home game and, of course, be around at other times during the week. It's sort of like my sports writer days -- I get paid to watch baseball. Not a bad gig if you can get it.
