Well, despite trying to arrive at a deal to keep Jukich, it would appear that they simply sent him back to Cincinnati. I guess he got through waivers?

yup

From your link:

Rule 5 players must be offered to the other 28 teams before being returned to the original team.

Looks like no one else wanted him. At least, not enough to keep him on the roster all year.

Good news for the Reds, maybe, but it must be a bummer for him. He was probably hoping to stay on a big league roster.

Someone please share how he got his nickname.

He use to work in Azkeban.

Volquez, Bailey, Cueto, Chapman, and Leake. The future is so bright I have to wear sunglasses.

It's that photo

In real life, he’s fairly ordinary looking, but that Gameday photo has become a Red Reporter “meme.” Actually, they’ve since changed his photo, but we’ve preserved here at RR, and post it at any excuse.

Like he’s going to suck your soul out with his stare.

He's also lit strangely, making him pale and kind of...pearlescent.

Like he’s glowing from within as he peers into the dark abyss of your wretched soul.

I went to high school with a guy named Jukich.

He was a shape-shifter, not a soul-sucker. Hell of a nice guy though.

If it wasn't for my horse, I never would have spent that year in college!

Classy Cardinals Reprise!

I hope to construct a music video montage of classy St. Louis Cardinal moments, perhaps setting it to Mariah Carey's "Hero."

Please take a moment to find the classiest incidents in recent Cardinal history, and link to an article covering the event, or video or pictures if you can find them. And if you just have a ridiculous photo of a recent Cardinal, please post a link here to the highest resolution image you can find.

I think we can all learn from such a classy organization. Let's give it a try.
