Just because nobody else wants him doesn’t mean we shouldn’t find a spot for him.

Best case scenario, Heisey beats him out in ST and we’ve got a sombrero in LF in the Ville smashing to the tune of a .600 SLG, and we can package him and Stoney Maloney in a May trade for something else.

I pushed the reply and nobody replied
I pushed the edit and nothing changed.

I am in the minority but I believe that Gomes is very much needed if the Reds are to remain competitive this coming season. I love me some Frazier, Hi-Z and Yonder…but these guys don’t have the experience (yet) to walk into an everyday starting job at the MLB level. And Crolfs had a vision.
