Griffey Sr. to weather heat of Bakersfield, decrepit ballpark
Ken Griffey Sr. was named the manager for the Bakersfield Blaze. Not only will he have to deal with 8:15 start times and 115 degree temperatures, but he'll be sitting in the Cal League's oldest ballpark. While it's historical in age, it's really hysterical in the fact that batters face the west, so they'll blinded by the Sun. Reason for the late start times.
Looking forward to keeping an eye on the Reds future in the Central Valley, and hoping Griffey will bring some legends with him.

He better not walk out on his team this time...that would not be good for his future employment.
