wish list rotation
Arroyo - will be a test to see him continue healthy
Volquez - I think he could be this teams ace
Cueto - Training wheels are off time for him to really own
Wood - Finally a solid lefty
Leake/bailey - Just like everyone else i am really interested in Bailey next year. Is Leake a one season wonder?
Masset needs to be a big deal in the bullpen as i see him taking over the eight inning from Rhodes.
Chapman as the closer, unless he really earns it this off season.
Knowing that Chapman wont be the closer, I will hope the offense can score 40 runs a game to coco proof the lead

Young me cut it out and saved it.
I wasn’t particularly religious, but I liked the Reds attention and the (albeit very mild) do-good message— and I always loved “fractured fairy tale” types of stories. (Please note that I am not calling Jesus a fairy tale.)

of course not

Leake's not a one-season wonder.
He’ll be a fine pitcher. Not a top of the rotation guy, but a useful, effective starter. He’ll do nothing but improve.

Hmm, I wish for this:
Cueto

Bailey
Leake/Chapman
assuming no trades are made FOR a pitcher
This time last year I was pining for Brandon Webb in Cincinnati Red come 2011.
Now… meh.
by the finest muffins on Nov 10, 2010 7:29 PM EST up reply actions
oh man, me too
his injury has just lingered and lingered though. I’d love a healthy Webb at the top of our rotation though.
he's maxing out at like 86 mph from what i've heard
I’ll pass, unless it’s like a $1M base with a shit ton of incentives
i think he's looking at more like
a $5-8 mil base, plus tons of incentives. i think a team like the Yankees, with ??? in the rotation and a shiny new nickel they’re just itchin’ the spend, is more likely to get him.

that demand sucks
pitchers like him use to be nice gambles for small market teams. He would get a relatively small contract, if it works out a small market team gets a year of a good starter, and he gets his career back on the rails and hits the market again.
