Former Red Royce Clayton cast as Miggy in MONEYBALL movie
Clayton poured himself into the part, and spent several weeks cultivating a Spanish accent in an attempt to make the character believable.
"The guys found it hilarious," Clayton said. "I'd come in every day for two months saying, 'Hey you guys. We gonna win to-day!' and all this other good stuff in the same [Latin] accent."

They made Facebook into a movie...
Surely they can find enough story to film “Moneyball: The Rise of the Sabermetricons”

Seems a little awkward
for Clayton to be portraying Tejada a la 2002 (who was 28) when Clayton himself is four years older than Tejada, and is now 40. But if the picture in the ESPN article is a recent one, I guess he doesn’t really look 40.
This team wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for all the kipper-snacks.
Shenanigans
Everybody knows Miggy is much older than he claims. I think it’s possible he was Clayton’s age at the time Clayton is supposed to be portraying him.
More shenanigans… no way Clayton is going to convince anyone he can hit like Miggy… at least not without some (wink, wink) B-12 injections.

Twelve years? Really?
The hitting prowess is standard movie fare. Miguel Tejada:Royce Clayton::Shoeless Joe Jackson:DB Sweeney.

Don't you know?
Tejada is actually 62.
