Well......
It is, after all, just one game. Sigh. One pretty demoralizing game but just one game. You have to win three. Have to hand it to Halladay, throwing one no hitter during the regular season and one now in the post season. He's an amazing pitcher. Still, again.....it's just one game. Plenty of time to come back. Arroyo up against Oswalt on Friday. If we can take one out of two in Philly, we're gravy.

I think the plan
was always to split in Philly anyway.
2010 Central Division Champions, Your Cincinnati Reds!!!!!!!!!!!
It's just defening to listen to all the "Reds don't have a chance" mouthbreathers act vindicated.
A full season’s worth of stats against other teams doesn’t a no hitter against the Reds make. It was a well-pitched game on it’s own. With a little help from John Hirschbeck, of course.
Did anyone notice Hirschbeck beaming after the last out?

He made history man
Wouldn’t you be happy. I bet Hitler was happy when he invaded Poland in 1939 and these two things are comparable right?

Hirschbeck
lol…no, I didn’t notice that but it wouldn’t surprise me.
I vote that this game is never mentioned on RR again.

But on a positive note
Everyone on the team except for Volquez can pitch without giving up runs. Good outlook for the series. Arroyo can beat Oswalt. Maybe?

Travis Wood gave up some loud outs.
He didn’t give up any runs but I’m not really looking forward to his next outing/

Posnanski showed
teams that win in game 2 have a higher series winning percentage than those that win in game 1. Its something like .792 over .753
The theory is that if you win one of the first two away, you then get home-field advantage. So yeah, if Arroyo can go full awesome on Friday…there’s a chance.

does that stat include
does it include those that won game one and two?
I could sleep when I lived alone.
Is there a ghost in my house?
nope

Were you there?
That’s a pretty cool experience, even if it sucked for the Reds.

I was.
In all honesty it was pretty cool to see. Not much you can do or say other than tip your hat to Roy1 and hope to bludgeon Roy2 Friday.

I really feel pretty confident they'll make some noise against him
His success in Philly has largely been due to BABIP luck. His FIP and xFIP are almost identical to his time in Houston this year.
Plus, this year’s team has had serious success against him. Plus, this year’s team seems to always play well after a demoralizing loss.
Now if Bronson can just put up some zeros.
see what I did there with uzr? it’s like a LOL cats saber-pun combo.--Verka Serduchka
