NYC Playoff Meetup: Friday, October 8

PrintAlright Big Red Apple Reporters, it's time to get together and show New York which team really matters in these playoffs! Anyone who is going to be around for Friday's game, let's meet up and watch somewhere!
I don't have a specific place in mind, so if you want to come and have a suggestion, I'm all ears. One place I know of that is kind of central is Foley's Pub on on 33rd between 5th and 6th. They have about 100 TVs in there and most, if not all, of them will probably have the game on.
Or anywhere else, it doesn't matter to me. I just want to get together, get loud, and watch the Reds beat Roy Oswalt back to Texas. WHO'S WITH ME?!?!?!

As for Cincinnati bars, there’s a place called Edward’s in TriBeCa. I’ve never been but they have a “Cincinnati night” once a month. I don’t know about size or amount of TVs, however, and I think it may be a little swanky for our purposes.
Phebe’s on Bowery in the East Village is the go-to Bengals bar for NYC, so I assume it’ll be filled up with Reds fans. I can give them a call at some point today or tomorrow and see if they’re doing a Reds get together.
Call Phebe's. Edward's is only into the food of Cincy, and I'm pretty sure it's not the kind of place that has TVs.

So I called Phebe's
They said that they weren’t planning any drink specials or any special events for the games, but that they’d be on the tvs there. I’d say that’s probably the safest bet for where other Reds’ fans will be, if anywhere.
Gonna try to make it out there
Have some Brooklyn Reds fans who want to meet up as well. Either way, this is gonna be awesome.
