On this date in 1975 the Reds beat the Pirates 6-1.

Tony Perez had three hits and drove in three runs and Davey Concepcion added three hits as the Reds won Game Two of the NLCS.Freddie Norman started and pitched six innings for the Reds to pick up the victory.

The Pirates lineup doesn’t look that intimidating to me, what am I missing? Al Oliver, Stargell, Parker and a bunch of guys I don’t know much about.

Zisk and Hebner were solid hitters

And Handy Manny behind the plate was a blast to watch. The dude swung at everything. Didn’t matter if it was three inches off the ground or a foot over his head. And he hit a lot.
