This Day in Reds History - October 4
On this date in 1995 the Reds beat the Dodgers 5-4.
Reggie Sanders homered, Dave Burba picked up a win and Jeff Brantley a save as the Reds took a commanding two game lead in the NLDS. Ace closer Brantley entered the game in the bottom of the ninth with a 5-2 lead. He faced 5 batters gave up two hits (including a HR) and two runs in picking up the save. No wonder he is a CoCo fan!
