Reds,Giants, or Padres...... who faces the Phils...
Who faces the Phillies in the first round of the 2010 NLDS? Well... The Cincinnati Reds are 89-70, San Francisco Giants are 91-68, and the San Diego Padres are 88-71. I really don't think that anyone wants to face the pitching trip consisted of: Roy Halladay, Roy Oswalt, and Cole Hamels. Being completely honest I have tickets for the NLCS and if the Reds face the Philles I don't think a trip to the "513" is in my near future. With injuries to Martin Prado and Chipper Jones a series with the Braves seems like an easier task. The Padres and Giants face-off this weekend. The only way the Reds could get the number 2 seed is if the Padres sweep the Giants, and the Reds sweep the Astros.
Fortunately, the Reds are 10-5 this year against the Astros and the Padres are 10-5 against the Giants. If this pattern continues there is a great chance of both sweeps happening this weekend. There is also a lot to think about because the Phillies are playing the Braves this weekend. After this weekend we might see a playoff for the N.L. West division title, or a playoff for the wild card. There is a lot to see this weekend.

Thing is, we're not playing the Astros.
But I’m in the same boat as you. I can make the weekend trip in the NLCS to make use of my buddy’s tickets. So go Braves! Go Reds!
