but I really don’t have a problem with him being reinstated with some stipulations. And I believe he should be in the Hall as a player and it should be noted that he was indeed banned.

But I’m not going to go out of my way to say that he deserves to be reinstated either. What exactly has he done since being banned to make a case for reinstatement? Even though his crime was worse, at least Michael Vick is getting involved with anti-dogfighting causes now. Is Pete against gambling, or even sports betting? The dude lives in VEGAS. That doesn’t sound like acknowledging your mistake and trying to rectify it, Pete.
Of course, at least we know he’ll be back in the news when the woman he’s been bringing to games with him bites his nose off.

I don't think it matters whether or not Cincinnati Fans sign petitions or not.
When Bud decides that the game is ready he’ll turn it over to the Vets committee – and a lot of those guys are firm believers that players/managers gambling on baseball games outcomes is the one vice that could kill the game.

How can you not put Pete Rose in the Baseball Hall of Fame.? I grew up watching " The Big Red Machine". Without Rose, there wouldn’t have been such a team. 4250? hits. No one will ever catch him, not even your steroid users. The man was a natural hitter. He should be there. No question.
