Castellini says Dusty is "absolutely safe" thru 2010
I'm sure this is going to be part of the Reposter, but I thought it deserved a separate forum for discourse.

Willie Randolph thinks so.

Of course he's safe...
Cueto and Bailey’s arms haven’t fallen off yet, give him more time!
In most towns this means
1. Dusty your ass is so close to being gone you’d better start packing
2. Another statement soon to be released by Big Bob that: We are somewhat concerned about 2 losing seasons
3. Rumors on rumors about Dusty’s imminent firing
4. Announcement that Dusty has been terminated but given a job somewhere in the organization
5. Press conference making Dick Pole the interim manager
But Wait – Not in Cincinnati
1. Dusty we know that you’ve been a winner in other towns so we are hoping against hope you’ll win here, please
2. An intercepted email from Bob to Walt : ’We owe this guy too much $$$ to fire him- ax someone else"
3. Walt dismisses Billy Hatcher as a scapegoat
4. Reds win 4 of last 14 games
5. Dusty gets a $3.5M 1 year extension.
6. Slyde is committed to Lawnview State Hospital.

he's pitching for Pawtucket this season
the Sox picked him up off waivers last August and re-signed him in the offseason. he’s still kicking ass in AAA (2.21 ERA, 0.96 WHIP), but he hasnt really gotten his shot yet.

Remember when we were supposed to play for 2008 because 2007 was so bad?
That was awesome.
