My trip to GABP Friday 8/28 ... DRH edition

So on Friday my wife and I were joined at GABP by my father and stepmother, as well as my mother (they still remain good friends). It was just my father and stepmothers second time there, and this would be my mother's first visit (lives in Tucson, Arizona).

The game was a blast, Cordero (who should have never been in) almost blew it, Dusty managed with his dice again, Homer pitched for the 3rd out of the 4 times I've been to GABP this year, yet in the end the Reds won. The highlight, though, was that my wife, mom, and stepmom all took of for the gift shop during the Dodgers batting practice.  When they returned, the brought with them my surprise birthday present. And it was with a quick change of shirts that i was wearing a custom made authentic home Daniel Ray Herrera jersey. Seeing as how our seats were in section 101, right up against the Reds bully, i waited for DRH to arrive from the dugout. When he finally arrived i yelled his name and turned around so he could see the name on the back. DRH lifted his hands up in the air and told me it was the first time he had seen someone wearing his jersey. I was hoping to get an autograph on it, but the National Anthem was starting. All in all, though, it was the best game i saw all year long.
