Bronson does drugs..........anyone suprised?

Apparently Bronson Arroyo is admitting to using several PEDs including andro and amphetamines while a member of the Boston Red Sox. Bronson said he would not be suprised if he was on the positive 2003 test that David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez were just announced as a part of. I am not shocked by this new batch of positive test names anymore. Only man I still have faith in not using PEDs is Ken Griffey Jr. I hope I never here hear a negative about Jr,  either his Mariners or Reds days.

This is a blog so I can say this!

I’ve heard tales of crazy Bronson parties involving cocaine, blunts, and Ryan Freel from semi-reliable sources (i.e. a couple of Bronson’s groupies/floozies/fellow boaters). Of course, does that really surprise anyone?

non issue

I think Bronson is a stand up guy. Kudos to him for not ducking the question and addressing the issue head on. If I was a professional athlete I would certainly take PED’s, assuming they weren’t banned by baseball. The career span of a ballplayer is incredibly short and the income potential is staggering. I’d take five years off the end of my life for a 4 yr/$48 mil contract right now without hesitation.

Bronson had a great point that noone seems to get.

Androstenedione and the “greenies” he was talking about were perfectly legal over the counter supplements. You could buy them at GNC. Don’t confuse androstenedione with other varients of androgens that were illegal on a federal level and therefore illegal in baseball. What he was saying is that the legal andro, could give a positive steriod test.

Basically if it was not an illegal controlled substance and not banned by baseball, then why wouldn’t you use it.

I agree with him completely, although I would have articulated the point differently. It was pretty retarded for him to say he felt like he could hit his head on a basketball rim.

Is this where he got them?

First time I shot her, I shot her in the side.
Hard to watch her suffer, but with the second shot she died...
