Last week I had the chance to sit down with Stephanie Ben from the Cincinnati Reds Baseball Operations department and coordinator of the annual Reds Fantasy Camp. As many of you know, I was supposed to go to Fantasy Camp back in January but was unable to make it. Thankfully, the Reds have allowed me to roll over my payment to 2010 and I am back on the schedule and still out of shape. I've got 6 months though, right? Plenty of time!
I'm trying something new for the site by including the audio of the interview. Stephanie talks about why Fantasy Camp is special, what one can expect when attending the camp, and how things might be different in Goodyer, AZ this year than they were in Sarasota, FL. I mainly make lame jokes and awkward transitions. I hope you enjoy it!

I'm doing this the year I turn 30.
And maybe every year after that! Also, if I live in Cincinnati, I’m going to buy season tickets at least once.. it’s kind of a pain to go to games if you live in the suburbs though.
Don't live in the burbs!!!!

Sorry to hear that.
I’ve never been afraid of downtown.

You sound different then I expected
Also, you apparently conducted this interview in the corrugated metal shack where you’ve abducted Ms. Ben. (She’s a Muskie, BK!)

yeah, I just left the mic on the table while we talked
that’s why it sounds so distant. I hadn’t planned to use the audio, but I thought it was clear enough and I didn’t feel like transcribing it. Laziness wins out again!
