Get ready for CubsFan to infest our city this weekend gang. Im wagering one hundred dollars that the memorabilia salesdude at the base of Main St will be selling those geeky, offensive Cubs W flags again. If anyone is going to any of the games this weekend please remember to bring a canned food item...that gets you two free tickets to a Reds vs Braves game later this month. Im thinking that might be a date where jch displays his Failcouer shirt to RR Nation.
Also, downtown should be packed Friday evening since there is also a Keith Urban concert at US Bank Arena at 7pm. Prepare to get to the ballpark early. I, of course, am unable to follow my own advice as I will be arriving late to celebrate the birth of Ashness...thanks to work commitments.

I’m playing in the 7 Days For Sids golf outing on Monday. Tomorrow we have a graduation party. Saturday night Chef invited us to this private dinner thing for the ballet where he, Daveed, and Christian from Nicola’s are cooking a shitload of courses with wine pairings…followed by an evening away from the kids at the Cincinnatian. I’m tired and hungover just thinking about all of it.

A friend subjected my me and my wife to an evening of one of his records as the backdrop to our couples dinner. He’d even burned me a CD of it before we arrived ’cause he was so sure of its merit. A nice gesture to be sure, but what a labored, contrived piece of shit that record is.
