Reds' coiffure code
After looking at the homepage Harang pic again, and his vaguely Amish facial hair, I started to wonder about a few things. Do the Reds' have some kind of dress code or "hair code"? Someone told me a while back that Marge Schott would not allow teh players to have any facial hair. I believed it, but I suppose it could have been made up lol.
This is superficial and pointless, but tomorrow is an off day (sorry if this was double posted I had issues with my browser)

They used to
The Reds used to ban facial hair under Schott. It Was rescinded for the ‘99 season after the acquisition of Greg Vaughn. That’s why pre-99 Larkin was smooth and post-99 Larkin usually rocked the goatee.
At least
he no longer has a Dorito on his chin.

The facial hair ban went back decades
It wasn’t just schott. Also, George Steinbrenner had the same thing going on in NY when he took over.
It's still going in NY
One of the advantages of being a Yankees fan, IMO. No bizarro facial hair allowed. Neatly trimmed mustaches are permitted, but nothing else.

You bet that's a rec.
“I still like him better than Steinbrenner.”
Eighty-five percent of the f*ckin' world is working. The other fifteen percent come out here. A f*ckin' playground for the cocks*ckers.

That was a stupid rule
especially since some faces just beg for facial hair’s ability to obscure.

Wear something sexy to my funeral.
LOL
That guy could use a ’stache.
I think Bronson need sa 70s cop one as well. Paul Janish would look really dangerous with a Snidely Whiplash ’stache.
